Reviewing Fake 100W 12V CoB LED

Recently, I tested a large 100W CoB rated for 12V, advertised to draw 8-9 amps. Despite its size and claims, my measurements show it only reaches 30W at best.

If you multiply the voltage and current readings in the pictures above, you get 27W. This is only in cold, and when it gets warmer, it will drop to 24-25W.

Note that it is advertised as not requiring any heatsinks. If it were a true 100W LED, it would need at least 650 grams of aluminum heatsink.
