GemFast 16GB USB Stick Repair, with SMI3271AB Controller

Flash memory issue, using easy ways
A 16GB GemFast USB memory with SMI3271AB controller that I recently acquired cannot be formatted. If soft approaches don’t work in this circumstance, I gradually become more forceful. I used the Matin Storage Formatter and Matin Memory Formatter formatting tools for this. These programs weren’t compatible with this memory, so I used SP Recovery Utility, a program designed to recover Silicon Power memories that can also be used with USB drives from other brands.
By the way you can download all software that i used or mentioned from here.

After that i used ChipGenius software and the output was like this:

Using Forceful Way
I find the appropriate software for this memory by searching for the memory part number on Google and in particular on the usbdev.ru website. SMI Tools and Dyna Mass Storage Production Tool are two of the software options for SMI controllers. The Dyna software falls under the economic memory category of SMI controllers. SM3271series_Q0105 was the appropriate version for this memory. I successfully recovered and formatted the memory using the default settings. I see that the final volume was 14.8GB because of 3% of the memory was damaged.
Download SM3271series_Q0105 here.
